Cities with asterisk indicate cities which used to have a congregation of the Church, but does not anymore. These cities often times have missionaries visit them and sometimes have missionaries assigned to them.- Villach* - 58,500

I served in Bregenz for about 3 months in 1982. We did have fulltime missionaries there for over 3 years from abt. 1979 through 1982. We served as part of the Swiss Zuerich German-speaking mission. Per our in-person visit in 2008, we still have a few active members in Bregenz Austria that attempt member-missionary work. The mission was discontinued for a time and re-alligned recently. I understand Bregenz is part of the "Alpine " or German "Alpine mission now. Members from both Feldkirch and Bregenz, Austria attend at the Dornbirn ward, which between these two cities.
